These legendary Tri-Metal 77 high performance engine bearings incorporate the strength of a copper-lead alloy layer, on a steel backing, overlaid with a precision electro-plated white metal babbitt material. The steel backing provides durability and strength; and the white metal babbitt overlay provides the critical surface characteristics of embedability, slipperiness and conformability.
