Every crankshaft is 100% inspected for critical dimensions. Each rod and main journal fillet is manufactured to .125 radii to ensure durability. Our precise production efforts deliver more accurate dowel pin placement, indexing, stroke length and a perpendicular crank flange. Concentricity and surface finish are the two most desirable features in a high performance crankshaft journal. Each journal must be perfectly concentric to its specified centerline, and journal surface lobbing. We limit ours to no more that .00006" to further enhance oil film integrity at high engine speeds.

Compstar crankshafts are designed by our engineers, rough machined to or specification on 4340 material forging, then finished in our facility, these crankshaft are Compstar Correct.
