These Crane pushrods are made from aircraft grade 4130 chromemoly steel tubing heat treated to a 128000 psi tensile strength rating. Pushrods for use with guideplates are heat treated beyond that rating and carbonized to withstand wear. The pressed-in steel ends are heat treated and black oxide.
