Here are a few of the features that makes the 555-HR a better deal than the GM572.
- More Power!! 675hp vs. 620HP on the 572
- Short deck block. The 555 uses a Dart Big M 9.8 short deck block instead of the 10.2 GM tall deck. This will allow headers to fit better and allow better hood clearance.
- Name brand components. With manufacturers such as Dart, Brodix, SRP, Harland Sharp, ARP, Clevite , Herbert Performance Parts, the 555 is loaded with reliability that can’t be found with “stock” GM parts.
- Individually built. Each engine is built one at a time unlike mass produced GM crate engines.
- Dyno test is optional upon request.
- Price!! Even with everything listed above, the 555-HR is still priced considerably lower than the ZZ572.
